Where It All Began
Hxatelier is a handbag brand created by Guangzhou Huaxiu Leather Co., Ltd., a company founded in September 2017 in Shiling Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou — a region widely known within the industry for its long-standing concentration of leather goods manufacturers.
Our founding team came together with backgrounds spanning product design, manufacturing management, and leather goods production. Having worked for years within the manufacturing side of the handbag industry, we noticed a recurring gap: many people who wanted well-made, practical bags for everyday life had limited direct access to the factories actually making them, and often relied on layers of resellers along the way.
That observation became the starting point for Hxatelier. We wanted to build a brand that connects directly with the people using our products — not just supplying to other labels behind the scenes, but putting our own name behind items we design and manufacture ourselves.
What We Do
Our factory occupies over 16,000 square meters and operates more than 200 pieces of production equipment, supported by a team of over 80 people. We handle the full production process in-house — from initial design and material sourcing through manufacturing, quality inspection, and OEM/ODM services for other businesses — which gives us direct oversight over each stage rather than outsourcing steps to third parties.
We focus on backpacks, tote bags, travel bags, and a range of everyday lifestyle bag products, using materials selected with safety and environmental considerations in mind throughout our sourcing process.
Why We Started This Online Store
For most of our company's history, our work happened behind the scenes — producing for other brands and businesses. Opening this online store was our way of stepping out from behind that curtain and offering our products directly to the people who'll actually carry and use them, without the added cost and distance that usually comes from going through multiple layers of distributors.
Selling directly also means we can listen more closely to feedback, make adjustments based on what our customers actually need, and stand behind our products with direct accountability — since there's no separate label or third party standing between us and you.

Two ideas sit at the center of how we operate: putting the customer first, and treating our reputation as something worth protecting.
In practice, that means:
